Dan is chief executive of CPL Training Group, one of the UK’s leading learning and development companies.
Under Davies’ leadership, CPL Training Group has grown into one of the most trusted brands in the market, and delivers a broad range of services, from face-to-face training to licensing applications. He is responsible for the overall leadership of the organisation and the implementation of the board’s strategy.
In addition to CPL, Davies is chairman of the Institute of Licensing, chair of the National Licensing Forum, and sits on the Council and House Committee of UKHospitality. In 2017 Davies became one of the co-owners of III Big Dogs Vodka, a premium spirit brand which was founded alongside four other business associates.
Following the sale of CPL Online in early 2018, Davies embarked on a new business venture Rockpoint Leisure, and it is through this vehicle that he plans to breathe new life into his local coastal community through a private sector-led regeneration.
Davies is an active member of Amnesty International and is passionate about animal welfare.
